About the Chorus

The White Rose Chorus is the York, PA Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. As of June of 2026 we have 14 active members both men and women singing men’s arrangements of 4-part acapella haromny.

We are a member of the Mid-Atlantic District with 68 chapters in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington DC.

Our Director is Robert Crist III, who has been a barbdershopper since his teen years thanks to his father.

Our goals for 2026 are to build a 15 song performance repertoire and get ready for our annual show in 2027. We intend to compete in the Mid-Atlantic District chorus contest in the spring and will perform a holiday show package in December.
